Chris Niedenthal started coming to Poland from London as a teenager, curious about the country his parents came from. In time he settled permanently in Warsaw. All photos in this album were taken in the 1970s. Most of them are published for the first time. It is a collection of images of Niedenthal’s homeland by choice, which he was just getting to know, as well as an insight into the process of shaping his documentary style. The book was edited by Julia Staniszewska, with an introduction by Anda Rottenberg.
